Designer Luella Bartley Halts Trading DESIGNER, MAIN 11.15.09Written By Ben

British fashion designer Luella Bartley has stopped trading because of financial problems. Luella has lost its financial backing from VSQ. Last month, Luella also lost its ready-to-wear producer in Italy due to closure.

Bartley stated, “This is a very disappointing situation for everyone involved with the brand.It is upsetting not to be able to protect jobs in this difficult economic climate.”

Designer Bartley will be studying many ways to keep the ready-to-wear and accessories in some form.
